Training, Safety and Integrity

The key to Construction Workforce New York’s success is training and supervision. Staff are trained to perform safely, but must also wear their PPE, engage in safe work practices and perform proper means and methods for all tasks in the effective execution of job tasks.

Every Construction Workforce New York employee is hired with or receives OSHA 30 certification, and we provide all our employees with required training pursuant to NYC Local Law 196 and OSHA as required.

• OSHA 4 Hour Fall Protection

• 4 Hour Flag/Construction Site Traffic Safety Manager
• Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

FDNY Certifications

• F60 – Fire Guard Torch operations and construction sites
• S92 – Supervisor of portable fueled space heaters at site
• S93 – Temp storage and dispensing of flammable of combustible liquids
• S56 – Construction Site Fire Safety Manager

Construction Workforce New York’s voluntarily employs a third-party integrity monitor who provides in-field personnel assessments to appraise employees’ performances, service deliveries and company procedure compliance. The integrity monitor also participates in regular post-hiring human resource meetings and coordinates the submission and review of required background investigation reporting. Should an incident occur, the integrity monitor is immediately sent to the project to assess the situation and make a recommendation.
